Whitepaper: Window airing in the classroom
⏱ approx. 5 minutes
QUESTION
Is window airing the only solution to provide effective air exchange in the classroom?
PROJECT CHALLENGE
Window airing in the classroom is a very controversial issue, especially during the winter months. According to the German Health Department, the classroom must be aired at least every 20 minutes with the window wide open (shock airing) - during class. One can imagine what this does to the room temperature.
A more effective and "healthier" alternative to air exchange by means of windows is filtering or purifying the room air with the help of special ventilation devices. These systems replace the room air with filtered and preheated fresh air and also ensure a better oxygen concentration in the classroom.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
To offer a heating solution for preheating fresh air in ventilation units, in accordance with the funding guideline "Corona-compliant stationary ventilation and air-conditioning systems".
CUSTOMER / INDUSTRY
German manufacturer of ventilation systems
